“All This Can Happen” explores cross-disciplinary artist practices spanning from video to film and sculpture, showcasing a selection of Icelandic and Belgian artists. All the works are engaging deeply with contemporary challenges, struggles, and hardships in an ever-changing world:
Expect filmic explorations of a massacre of Icelandic families, a plastic-eating goldfish, a collaboration with deep sea creatures, a man dancing in another man’s home, another man struggling with his suit, the end of the world, and so much more…
Special screenings during the exhibition days will present additional filmic works by the featured artists. Plus there will be ‘Drift,’ a film program of Belgium-based artists, exploring themes such as temporal drift, parallel realities, and existential choices, offering a cinematic extension of the exhibition’s inquiry into dislocation, identity, and transformation.
