A screening of Clemens Wilhelms ‘This Film is Secret’, Joseph Delappe’s ‘Origins of Totalitarianism’, and John Butler’s ‘The Magic Robot’.
Though each work differs vastly in content and form, a common ethical thread runs through them.
‘This Film is Secret’ re-examines the history of the first bioweapon experiment on Gruinard Island from a pandemic lockdown perspective.
‘The Origins of Totalitarianism’ is an AI ‘shallowfake’ channeling of Hannah Ahrendt through Donald Trump.
‘The Magic Robot’ goes from technological unemployment to the ethics of weapons design, the meaning of art, and everything else inbetween.
